Website Designer – Contract

This role involves designing and developing a visually stunning website for a luxury candle and wellness brand. The website will serve as the digital storefront, showcasing premium candles and wellness products, and must reflect the brand’s commitment to quality and holistic well-being. The site will also integrate unique features such as subscription services and downloadable guided meditations accessible via QR codes, providing customers with a seamless and immersive experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio in e-commerce and wellness or lifestyle brands, with a keen eye for detail and user experience. Deliverables

• Design and build a responsive, visually appealing website tailored to luxury wellness products
• Integrate e-commerce functionality for product sales and subscription management
• Implement QR code functionality for downloadable guided meditations
• Ensure seamless navigation and optimal user experience across devices
• Collaborate on content layout, imagery, and branding to align with monthly wellness themes
• Set up secure payment gateways and customer account features
• Provide documentation and basic training for ongoing site management

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing e-commerce websites, preferably in the wellness or luxury sector
• Proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and web development platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress)
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design
• Experience integrating QR code solutions and downloadable content
• Ability to implement subscription models and secure payment systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Availability for project-based freelance work, with flexibility for feedback and revisions
• Based in the UK or able to work within UK time zones preferred
