This role involves designing and developing a professional website for an author seeking to showcase and sell books online. The ideal candidate will create a visually appealing, user-friendly platform that highlights the author's works, facilitates book sales, and fosters engagement with readers. The project is fully remote and tailored for a personal initiative based in the United Kingdom. Deliverables

• Design and build a responsive website optimized for both desktop and mobile devices
• Develop dedicated sections for book listings, author biography, news/updates, and contact information
• Integrate e-commerce functionality for direct book sales and secure payment processing
• Implement newsletter signup and social media integration to enhance reader engagement
• Ensure SEO best practices are applied for discoverability
• Provide basic training or documentation for ongoing content updates

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing author or book-related websites
