The Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building and scaling the commercial SaaS platforms that power our mission. You'll collaborate directly with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to design, develop, and deliver secure, high-performance web and mobile applications that provide exceptional value and user experiences. This is a hands-on role for a full-stack engineer passionate about building impactful solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack Development:

• Front-End: Develop responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces using modern frameworks (React Native experience is crucial). Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate vision into seamless user experiences. Optimize front-end code for performance and scalability.
• Back-End: Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure server-side logic using Node.js. Build and maintain efficient APIs for seamless front-end/back-end integration. Implement critical security measures (authentication, authorization, data protection).
• Database Expertise: Design, implement, and optimize database schemas (SQL-based technologies) for efficient storage, retrieval, and integrity. Write and optimize complex database queries, ensuring data consistency and security.
• Cloud-Native SaaS Development: Leverage AWS (Azure or GCP is a plus) to build, deploy, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud-based SaaS applications and platforms.
• Collaboration & Quality:
• Utilize version control (e.g., Git) effectively within a team environment.
• Actively participate in code reviews, fostering high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and QA to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality, incremental value.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in server-side application development (Node.js required).
• Strong experience developing and deploying cloud-based SaaS applications (AWS strongly preferred; Azure or GCP a plus).
• Demonstrated experience with React Native or comparable mobile development frameworks/tools.
• Solid experience with SQL database design, management, and optimization.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
