UDRO needs to build a powerful social media presence to increase the effectiveness of its campaigns. Communities, heritage and the UK's critical interests are furthered by UDRO's ability to communicate effectively with the public, reach decision-makers, and harness people power.

UDRO's work is highly visual: we protect living, breathing, communities -- often tradespeople, or those living in vibrant, diverse parts of London; we protect beautiful architectural heritage under threat from demolition. We believe that our activities lend themselves to a compelling online presence.

Role Description

This is a full-spectrum, 'strategy to creation to posting', role, remunerated on an hourly, contract basis. The role would be designed to fit around your availability and interests. In practical terms, we would want you to strategise, plan, film, present, design and post content on multiple social media platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Media Management tools and platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
• Skills in Content Creation, including copywriting, graphic design, and multimedia production
• Knowledge of Social Media Analytics and ability to interpret performance metrics
• Familiarity with Digital Marketing principles and trends
• Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a remote team
• Interest or background in urban planning or social advocacy is an advantage
• Prior experience in social media content creation or marketing is a plus
