About The Role

Red Carrot is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Graphic Designer II to join our team remotely. This role is contingent upon contract award and involves supporting the customer's External Affairs office on a high-profile federal communications contract. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned designer capable of independently leading visual projects across digital and print platforms. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that communicates complex information effectively to diverse audiences. Your expertise will support the development of publications, presentations, reports, and various communication materials. Additionally, you will design static and dynamic graphics, animations, icons, and multimedia content optimized for web and print. The role also involves creating infographics, updating templates, supporting event visuals, and producing motion graphics and videos. Your work will ensure all graphics are accessible, compliant with Section 508 standards, and aligned with client branding and communication goals. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Information Technology, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, including AI-generated content, motion design, rigging, and VFX
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Experience with 3D modeling software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya
  • Experience with AI-powered design tools like Runway ML, DALL
  • E, and MidJourney
  • Ability to obtain the required government Fitness Determination

Responsibilities

  • Provide graphic design support for publications, presentations, factsheets, reports, and other communication materials
  • Create static and digital graphics, animations, icons, and multimedia content optimized for web and print
  • Design and develop infographics to visually represent program information for targeted audiences
  • Design and refresh templates for standard products including fact sheets, brochures, flyers, and reports
  • Support the creation of visuals for agency booths, displays, banners, and exhibits, including updating booth graphics as needed
  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository accessible to all customer employees for icons, graphics, and design templates
  • Ensure all graphics and products are Section 508 compliant and accessible to all users
  • Support events through photo and video capture, editing, and documentation
  • Create motion graphics and video products as required for various communication needs
