About The Role

Our Social Media Manager, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, will serve as a pivotal member of the marketing team, responsible for shaping and executing Degy's digital presence across various social platforms. This role is ideal for a strategic, trend-savvy professional with a passion for live entertainment and digital storytelling. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive social media strategies, oversee content creation, and manage campaigns designed to grow audience engagement, elevate brand awareness, and promote Degy's artists and events. The role involves a blend of strategic planning, content management, analytics, and community engagement, with opportunities for hands-on creative work using tools like Adobe Suite and Canva. The Social Media Manager will be instrumental in ensuring consistency across all channels, staying ahead of industry trends, and leveraging data insights to optimize performance. This position offers remote work flexibility, competitive compensation, and opportunities for career development within a vibrant entertainment environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting, and content creation skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Capcut
  • Experience with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and WordPress
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Office 365, SharePoint, or ClickUp
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Creative, innovative, and adaptable with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be a United States citizen residing in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own Degy's comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and business objectives
  • Define KPIs, establish reporting standards, and analyze performance data to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that reflects Degy's brand voice and storytelling goals
  • Manage all social media channels, including content posting, monitoring, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to design and execute campaigns, visuals, and videos
  • Partner with external creators, influencers, and artists to expand reach and engagement
  • Implement and manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation and optimization
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform features, and entertainment movements to inform strategy
  • Track analytics, generate regular reports, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage online reputation
  • Support broader marketing initiatives, including website, app, ticketing, and live event promotions
  • Oversee support staff such as interns and associates as needed
  • Handle urgent requests during events or live activations outside regular working hours
  • Participate in company meetings, training, and cross-departmental projects to foster a collaborative environment
