Job Title: Junior Front-End Developer Location: Remote, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Experience Required: 0–1 Year About The Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Front-End Developer to join our growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, bootcamp graduates, and aspiring developers looking to build a career in modern web development. As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will work closely with UI/UX Designers, Product Managers, and Senior Developers to create responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing web applications. You will help transform design concepts into functional digital experiences while gaining hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive design principles, and front-end development best practices. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, along with a passion for creating engaging user experiences and learning new technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Convert UI/UX designs from Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools into functional web pages.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development standards.
  • Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in integrating front-end components with APIs and backend services.
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
  • Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 0–1 year of experience through internships, freelance projects, personal projects, or academic work.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Basic experience with React.js.
  • Understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Next.js or other modern front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Basic knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Portfolio showcasing personal or academic projects.
