This position is not salaried but offers sweat equity as compensation, with the potential to transition into a paid role after fundraising.

Role Description

We are looking for a part-time remote UI/UX Designer who is excited about building a product from scratch and shaping not just the interface, but the entire user journey.

Responsibilities

• Designing and iterating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Creating user flows that reflect real behavior and reduce friction
• Defining and evolving the product’s design language and visual identity
• Conducting light user research and translating feedback into design improvements
• Ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices
• Building and maintaining a scalable UI design system
• Collaborating with front-end developers to bring designs to life

Qualifications

• Experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio of relevant projects
• Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools
• Understanding of UX best practices, design systems, and accessibility
• Solid sense of layout, color theory, and typography
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with front-end implementation (nice to have)
• Self-motivated, responsible, and comfortable in a remote setup
• Bonus: interest in fashion, consumer behavior, or inclusive design

Compensation

• Sweat Equity only (no salary)
• Equity: 0.6%, vested over 4 years with 1-year cliff (Negotiable)
