Role Overview

They are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer (SaaS) to join their Customer Solutions team. The role involves working closely with Product, Onboarding, and Sales teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with customer goals.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and a solid understanding of financial or accounting principles to ensure solutions are both practical and value-driven.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret customer requirements to design tailored software configurations.
• Build and implement custom solutions using automations, integrations, and data manipulation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and solution delivery.
• Identify gaps or opportunities for improvement and propose validated solutions.
• Conduct testing, peer reviews, and documentation of technical solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience configuring or customising SaaS solutions for B2B customers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience writing formulas, queries, or code (e.g. SQL, JSON, or Excel VBA).
• Solid grasp of financial and accounting concepts to support finance-related use cases.
• Experience with dashboards, reporting, and data visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data mapping.
• Curious, proactive learner with an interest in business systems and automation.

Desired Skills

• 4+ years in a technical solutions or implementation engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with configurable SaaS platforms.
• Programming or scripting experience (SQL, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Confidence in customer-facing presentations and discovery sessions.
• Understanding of automation workflows or trigger-based configuration.
