About the role and team

We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our Creative team and take ownership of high-impact copy across Zepz’s two global brands, WorldRemit and Sendwave. This is a senior role at the intersection of brand storytelling, marketing, and cultural intelligence.

You’ll be the driving force behind compelling, on-brand copy across a wide range of channels: from brand campaigns to CRM, performance marketing, social, video scripts, and more. Operating across 110+ markets spanning Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas, you’ll need to adapt messaging for culturally distinct audiences while keeping our brand voice coherent, human, and unmistakably Sendave/WorldRemit.

While this is primarily a marketing-focused role, you’ll bring a product-savvy mindset,  ideally honed through experience with tech or app-based products, that helps you translate product features and updates into clear, engaging customer-facing narratives. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you’ll work closely with Growth Marketing, Product, Design, and Operations teams, and play a key role in the briefing process to ensure creative output is strategically aligned from the start.

Please note that this is a remote-first, full-time role, operating Monday to Friday.

What you bring to the table

  • Significant experience as a copywriter, with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and excellence across brand, campaign, and performance copy.

  • Proven experience with marketing copywriting for technology, marketing and app-based products.

  • Exceptional English writing, editing, and communication skills with a passion for clear, compelling content.

  • Proven ability to own and maintain tone of voice across a brand or portfolio of brands.

  • Experience adapting copy for diverse, multicultural audiences across multiple markets

  • A data-aware approach, you use campaign performance insights to inform and refine creative decisions

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment

  • Experience working with or writing about app-based products, with an ability to translate complex features into simple, engaging narratives

  • Comfort working across a wide range of channels: email, social, web, in-app, video, OOH, and more

What you will focus on

  • Craft engaging copy across all channels: Write and deliver high-impact copy across all channels: brand campaigns, CRM, performance, social, video, OOH, etc., adapting messaging for culturally distinct audiences across 110+ markets.

  • Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Growth Marketing stakeholders, engaging early in the briefing process to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and ensure creative output is strategically aligned.

  • Translate product into marketing: Turn product features, updates, and launches into compelling customer-facing narratives.

  • Shape creative strategy: Contribute to campaign direction from concept to execution, bringing a strong point of view on what excellence looks like across channels.

  • Champion our brand guidelines and tone of voice: Maintain and evolve brand and tone of voice guidelines across both brands. Ensure consistency across all our touch points and platforms.

Nice to have/ Bonus Points if you have

  • Experience in fintech, remittance, or financial services

  • Familiarity with UX writing and human-centred design principles

  • SEO knowledge and content optimisation experience

  • Experience with AI-powered copywriting tools and workflows

  • Exposure to product marketing communications

  • Experience working in a fully remote, distributed team across multiple time zones
