We are searching for a Contract Product Designer for our client, a organization specializing in digital transformation and change management solutions for faith communities.

In this position, you will shape the user experience across digital platforms by creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible designs for web, mobile, app, and gaming environments. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.

As a Product Designer, you will:

  • Conduct user research, usability studies, and user testing to gather insights that will inform design decisions and improve product experiences.
  • Develop design strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring that products not only meet user needs but also adhere to best practices in user experience design.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design ideas and solutions to both the product team and clients.
  • Work alongside product managers, developers, and other designers to promote a collaborative design process. Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from various stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
  • Ensure that all designs meet usability and accessibility standards, making products usable for a diverse audience.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system that streamlines design consistency across multiple products.
  • Document design processes, rationale, and guidelines to support transparency and facilitate collaboration within the team.
  • Stay abreast of design trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI to continuously enhance your design knowledge and application.

Who we’re searching for / About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, particularly within web, mobile, app, or gaming environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and demonstrating a user-centered design process.
  • Proficient with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision)
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with a solid understanding of research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, adept at presenting and defending design decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate user insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with frontend development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of mobile-first design principles and best practices
  • Passion for social impact and experience working with faith-based or non-profit organizations is highly desirable.
  • Experience in creating design systems or style guides
