Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Mechanical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer certification. This role requires strong proficiency in CAD and Revit, with additional 3D modeling skills being advantageous. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering analysis tools and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. Responsibilities

• Manage multiple mechanical engineering projects simultaneously.
• Utilize strong client-facing and relationship-building skills to manage client relationships effectively.
• Ensure thorough knowledge and application of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
• Design Fire Life Safety systems with a preferred understanding.
• Implement and manage Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
• Conduct energy audits and manage projects in accordance with ASHRAE levels 1-3.
• Incorporate renewable energy design into projects where applicable.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Fire Life Safety system design is preferred.
• Proficiency in Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
• CEM and CxA certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in commissioning, energy, and HVAC design is a plus.
• Knowledge of eQuest software.
• Renewable energy design experience is a plus.
