About the role

Aquent is thrilled to partner with a pioneering global eCommerce company, a remote-first innovator behind several successful direct-to-consumer brands. This dynamic organization thrives on creating compelling digital experiences that connect directly with customers, driving immense growth and fostering deep brand loyalty across a diverse portfolio of exciting products.

Are you a highly skilled and passionate design professional ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a visionary designer to join a dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user experience across all digital touchpoints. This is an incredible opportunity to directly influence how millions of customers perceive, engage with, and purchase products, contributing directly to continued growth and success by translating brand vision into stunning, high-performing web pages, engaging email campaigns, and optimized marketplace listings.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and build captivating web pages, including high-impact landing pages and intuitive product pages, taking projects from initial brief through to final, polished files that captivate our audience.
  • Craft compelling email campaigns and versatile templates that not only align seamlessly with our brand aesthetic but also drive measurable results for our marketing initiatives.
  • Take full ownership of web merchandising, strategically presenting, arranging, and promoting products on our site, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience as our catalog and campaigns evolve.
  • Develop high-quality marketplace listing assets, including primary images, supplementary visuals, and rich enhanced brand content that truly stands out in a competitive digital landscape.
  • Drive design tasks from conception to completion, proactively identifying and flagging potential risks, and consistently delivering exceptional work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Provide crucial day-to-day support to the Art Director, facilitating project flow, picking up tasks as needed, and ensuring seamless communication regarding progress and any potential roadblocks.
  • Offer practical guidance and constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment without formal management responsibilities.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience in designing for web, email, and marketplace listings.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing finished design work across these three critical areas, demonstrating your expertise and creativity.
  • Demonstrated comfort in owning design tasks and making informed decisions within established creative direction.
  • Solid experience with web merchandising for an online store, with a clear understanding of how to optimize product presentation for maximum conversion.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a small, agile team environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working specifically within an e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brand environment.
