Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE) – Band 1/2
Location: Ideally based in or near Birmingham

Role Purpose
Working closely with the marketing team, to deliver high quality marketing and events activities for our members.
Accountabilities
- Supports the professional delivery of CCMA Member events, including Summits, CONNECTs and Online Seminars.
- Deliver all administerial tasks for all events on brand, on time and accurately, such as collecting dietary needs, managing registrations and event enquiries.
- Set up event systems when required.
- Monitor delegate registration and delegate numbers, suggest and take corrective action to optimise registration and delegate numbers.
- Provide onsite event support, including event set-up, welcoming delegates and supporting guests throughout the day.
- Work with internal marketing team to drive event collateral creation, development and implementation, including email marketing, social media and presentations.
- Manage the relationship with venues and event suppliers to ensure all event requirements, logistics and catering are in place and within budget.
- Work with Partner team to ensure that all sponsor deliverables are completed, and that sponsor value is maximised, liaising with Partners as appropriate.
- Respond to delegate queries promptly and professionally.
- Develop surveys to capture delegate feedback and make recommendations to improve future events.
- Work with colleagues and use Planner to manage activities, ensuring deadlines and targets are hit.
- Follow processes provided to ensure efficient ways of working.
- Provide support to colleagues as required.
Education & Skills Requirement
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a marketing discipline.
- Experience in an event management role an advantage.
- Knowledge or experience of the contact centre industry an advantage.
- High level of both written and spoken English.
- Delivers high quality creative outputs and attention to detail.
- Resilient in a busy working environment.
- Highly organised and strong time management skills.
- Exceptional communicator and able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Seeks to always exceed expectations.
- Determination to remain highly knowledgeable and a drive to continually grow and learn.
- Good practical working knowledge of MS Office 365 and digital platforms.
