Position: Art Director (Remote)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Compensation: Unpaid (with potential for paid employment)
This is an unpaid internship that will run for 16 weeks. During this period, you will gain valuable experience in Art Direction and contribute to meaningful projects.
This internship is unpaid. However, based on your performance and the successful acquisition of company funding, there is the potential for this role to transition into a paid position after the internship period. At the end of the 16 weeks, candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance will receive a pre-agreement, with payment commencing upon securing funding.
We are seeking an experienced Art Director to lead the visual direction and brand execution across digital and print platforms. This role is central to transforming brand strategy into cohesive visual storytelling while managing and mentoring a creative team. The ideal candidate will bring strong design expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure creative excellence in every touchpoint.
Responsibilities:
• Brand Strategy: Define and implement visual identity, brand guidelines, and creative direction across products and marketing channels.
• Creative Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary design team including graphic designers, UI/UX specialists, and illustrators.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align visual output with business goals.
• Quality Control: Oversee consistency, clarity, and compliance in all creative deliverables.
• Multimedia Design: Direct production of motion graphics, animations, and interactive content for digital platforms.
• Design Optimization: Ensure designs are scalable, responsive, and performance- optimized across various digital environments.
• Market Research: Stay up to date with design trends, competitor visuals, and user experience best practices.
• Accessibility & Compliance: Guarantee designs meet industry accessibility and regulatory standards.
• Project Execution: Take full ownership of visual projects from concept through execution, delivery, and review.
Qualifications:
• Visual Design Mastery: Deep understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Creative Tools: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
• UX/UI Experience: Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and digital product workflows.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to inspire and lead design teams in fast- paced environments.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Skilled in working with stakeholders across marketing, product, and tech.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business and user needs into creative visual solutions.
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing brand and digital design work across multiple formats..
