Full Stack Developer (Remote – Australia) | $135k+Super | Full work rights required
We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a fast-growing, product-driven technology team focused on building modern, high-quality web platforms. This is a permanent, full-time role offering remote work within Australia. Applicants must hold unrestricted Australian work rights.
In this role, you’ll contribute across the entire application stack, delivering scalable and intuitive solutions using Python-based back-end technologies and a modern front-end framework. You’ll work closely with product and engineering peers to shape features from concept through to production.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications from front end to back end
- Work remotely from anywhere in Australia while collaborating with a highly engaged product and engineering team
- Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable code
- Take part in all stages of development including design, implementation, testing, and release
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and code quality across existing systems
- Stay current with emerging tools and technologies and apply them where they add value
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience developing full-stack web applications
- Strong experience with Python and Django (experience with other Python frameworks is also welcome)
- Solid JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Professional experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular experience is highly regarded)
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs (Django REST Framework experience is a plus)
- Sound knowledge of software architecture, data structures, and design principles
- Experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Confident using Git for version control
- Strong analytical skills with a practical approach to problem solving
- Clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Must have full, unrestricted rights to work in Australia
