Job Description

About CRYMBO
CRYMBO is a full-stack infrastructure platform that enables regulated institutions to operate crypto and blockchain-based financial activity safely and at scale. Our mission is to bridge blockchain ecosystems and institutional finance by providing a trusted compliance and transaction layer for Web3.
About The Role
As CRYMBO’s infrastructure evolves, we are designing incentive-aligned, decentralized network mechanisms to support validators, ecosystem participants, and long-term system sustainability. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Token Designer to own the design and validation of these mechanisms.
This role is deeply technical and economic, focused on system design and execution, not marketing or promotion.
What You’ll Do:
Design Incentive-Aligned Network Mechanisms
- Design and maintain the economic architecture underpinning CRYMBO’s decentralized infrastructure.
- Define how validators, users, and ecosystem participants are incentivized to act honestly and reliably.
- Ensure incentive mechanisms align with CRYMBO’s compliance-first, institutional-grade positioning.
Model, Stress-Test, and Validate System Economics
- Build quantitative models to evaluate system behavior under different adoption, load, and stress scenarios.
- Identify economic failure modes, abuse vectors, and unintended incentives.
- Propose mitigations that preserve long-term sustainability and security.
Translate Economics into Implementable Specifications
- Work closely with engineering to translate economic designs into clear, buildable specifications.
- Support test environments and validate that implemented mechanisms behave as intended.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure designs are defensible and appropriate for regulated contexts.
Contribute to Technical and Strategic Documentation
- Contribute to internal and external documentation explaining system mechanics and economic rationale.
- Support investor and partner materials in controlled, factual contexts.
- Ensure narratives remain grounded in actual system behavior and constraints.
Post-Deployment Monitoring and Tuning
- Monitor system usage and participation metrics.
- Adjust parameters and mechanisms based on real-world data.
- Maintain clear documentation of design decisions and changes.
Key Areas of Ownership & Deliverables:
Ownership:
- Cryptoeconomic system design
- Incentive mechanisms for decentralized participants
- Economic modeling and risk analysis
- Parameter design and tuning
- Cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, and Legal
Deliverables You’ll Own:
- Economic and incentive models
- Mechanism design specifications
- Risk and stress-test analyses
- Parameter tuning documentation
- Contributions to technical and strategic documentation
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have
3+ years of hands-on experience designing cryptoeconomic or incentive-based systems, with at least one system deployed or live.
Deep understanding of:
- Incentive design and game theory
- Economic attack vectors and abuse prevention
- Supply, emissions, and participation dynamics
- Strong ability to work across engineering, product, and legal/compliance teams.
- Comfortable owning ambiguous problems and making trade-offs.
- Able to explain complex systems clearly to non-specialists.
Strong Plus
- Experience with infrastructure, middleware, or protocol-level systems.
- Exposure to regulated or institutional-facing environments.
- Prior involvement in decentralized network launches or production systems.
- Familiarity with security reviews, audits, or risk assessments.
How You’ll Work
- High autonomy and clear ownership.
- Close collaboration with leadership and the wider team.
Location & Working hours
Remote-first. Preferred timezones: UTC+6 until UTC-5
Compensation & Contract
- Contract-based compensation (fixed and variable), aligned with seniority and scope. Flexible engagement structure.
- Contract-based engagement (initial 3–6 months).
- Based on performance and the collaboration, with the possibility to evolve into an ongoing engagement.
