Our clients include EasyJet, eBay, INEOS, Logitech, L’Oréal, Roblox, Walkers and Zalando.

As a Visual Designer, you will lead visual craft across both digital and physical touchpoints - from scalable brand systems and identity to art direction and technical production for print & digital. You bring strong creative direction thinking and high-level execution together to shape concepts from early thinking to final output. You care about story, framing, brand consistency, and asset execution. You push ideas forward while actively involved in the hands-on work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build, adapt, and expand scalable brand systems and identity guidelines that work seamlessly across diverse channels and client portfolios.
  • Design high-impact pitch presentation decks that translate complex creative strategies into compelling visual narratives.
  • Collaborate with the motion team on storyboards - awareness of motion workflow is a plus.
  • Manage technical production for print & digital, taking creative ideas from initial styleframes through to flawless final file delivery across multi-platform formats.
  • Develop strong creative ideas rooted in narrative, pacing, and visual structure.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, creatives, and other disciplines to keep work aligned with the original creative intent.
  • Interest around AI tools and in learning how they can support creative work
  • Stay curious of new tools, references, and production techniques across print and digital.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Art direction experience showing how you craft the visual story, framing, and narrative direction of a project from concept to pitch.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining scalable brand systems and identity for large-scale campaigns or growing brands.
  • Proven talent for deck design, with a knack for structuring visual stories, pitch decks, and client presentations that win work.
  • Strong proficiency in technical production for print & digital, with high attention to detail around file preparation, specs, color management, and production workflows.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • A strong portfolio showing concept, craft, brand systems and production quality.

WE OFFER:

  • A flexible, hybrid working policy (2 days from the office, depending on location).
  • An excellent salary based on experience and equal pay policies
  • Pension, free private healthcare, mental health support, and company sick pay scheme.
  • 26 days paid holiday (plus UK Bank Holidays).

WHY DEPT®?

We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.

Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.

We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
