Computer Aided Design Designer

Remote CAD Designer / CAD Drafter III & Senior (Aerospace Ground Systems)

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Are you an experienced Creo designer with a background in aerospace structures, ground support equipment, tooling, or launch systems? We are seeking CAD Designers and Drafters at the III and Senior levels to support the development of complex aerospace ground systems and launch infrastructure programs.

In this role, you will create, modify, and release engineering models, assemblies, and drawings for critical systems including umbilicals, ground support equipment, launch pad structures, test fixtures, and transportation and handling tooling.

What You'll Do

• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo
• Create and maintain engineering documentation in a controlled configuration management environment
• Generate drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T standards
• Support engineering change and release processes
• Define interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and analysis teams
• Participate in design reviews and model validation activities

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) experience
• Experience creating large assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
• Experience with configuration management and engineering release processes
• Experience using Windchill or similar PLM/PDM systems

• Launch pad structures or aerospace infrastructure

• Lifting, transportation, and handling tooling
• Umbilical systems and interface hardware
• Fluid systems, electrical connector documentation, and interface control drawings
