Job Description

The Role:
We're looking for a creative, driven Social Media Coordinator to take ownership of our growing content ecosystem, including full management of our brand new podcast social presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, plus ongoing support of Creator College's LinkedIn and TikTok channels.
This isn't a support role, it's a builder role. You'll be launching and growing channels from the ground up, creating content that actually converts, and working closely with our Senior Social Media Manager to keep Creator College's wider social presence sharp and consistent. The right person is deeply platform-native, obsessed with storytelling, and energised by the challenge of growing something from zero.
If you love the craft of content, move fast, and want real ownership, this is it.
What You'll Be Doing:Podcast Social (Instagram, TikTok & YouTube) - Full Ownership
- Lead the strategy, planning, creation, and execution for our brand new podcast social pages across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, building these channels from the ground up
- Develop a content strategy that grows audience, drives engagement, and reflects the podcast's unique voice
- Film, edit, and publish short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) with a strong eye for what performs
- Own the full content calendar, scheduling cadence, and performance reporting for these channels
Creator College (LinkedIn & TikTok)
- Manage and grow Creator College's LinkedIn and TikTok channels, maintaining a consistent, high-quality posting cadence
- Write platform-specific copy that adapts Creator College's tone of voice for different audiences
- Identify and act on reactive or trend-led content opportunities within 24-48 hours
Cross-Team Support
- Publish 6–7 high-quality social posts per week across all managed channels
- Self-shoot content for Reels and edit talking head videos from other team members efficiently
- Support the Senior Social Media Manager with ad-hoc tasks including graphic design work: logo assets, deck design, and visual support during virtual event days
- Maintain clear content organisation systems so workflows run smoothly and assets are always easy to access
- Collaborate on refreshing core content franchises and improving engagement performance across all channels
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2+ years running or supporting social channels for a brand or creator
- Proven experience creating and editing short-form video content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and/or YouTube Shorts. Even if it’s for your own personal channels.
- Understanding of what works on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn - good understanding of all the platforms, and its algorithms.
- Demonstrated experience launching or growing a social channel from scratch (this is a big plus)
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice across brand and individual creator formats
- Comfortable with graphic design basics, experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar tools is a bonus
- You genuinely love the creator and social media space, you're on these platforms every day, you understand what works, and you care about the craft
