Job Description

Posted on: May 31, 2026

Role Description This is a part-time, remote UI/UX Designer role at GG Community. In this role, you will design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile experiences that support community interactions and platform growth. You will translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, ensuring a consistent and accessible visual language. You will collaborate closely with product, development, and community teams to gather requirements, test design hypotheses, and iterate based on user feedback and analytics. Daily responsibilities include refining existing interfaces, creating new features, documenting design systems, and ensuring that designs can be implemented efficiently by developers.

Qualifications

  • Strong user experience design skills, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design within User Experience Design (UED).
  • Proficiency in creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Experience with building interactive prototypes and conducting usability tests to validate design decisions.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive design) to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Ability to design for accessibility, mobile-first and responsive interfaces, and consistent design systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience designing for communities, platforms, or tech products is a plus.
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant UI/UX projects is required; formal education in design, HCI, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
