Web Designer (freelance, remote)

We are a small London startup with the ambition to change education with ML-powered tutoring. Our flagship product is a mobile application for teaching English to intermediate and advanced learners.

We’re on the verge of solving one of the biggest challenges in education – making high-quality, personalised learning accessible to everyone. What was once technologically impossible is now within our grasp.

We’re looking for a freelance web designer to help us shape how Glite looks and feels on the web.

Essential skills 🙏

• Strong visual and layout design skills for the web
• A good eye for typography, spacing, colour, and hierarchy
• Experience designing responsive websites
• Ability to turn loose ideas into thoughtful design solutions
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment
• An extensive portfolio of previous work

Desirable Skills 👌

• Experience using design tools such as Figma
• Interest or experience in education, language learning, or AI-powered products
• An understanding of SEO principles and how design choices can impact organic growth and performance
