The Opportunity

Gold House is looking for a freelance designer to create visual assets for our brand across digital and live experiences. You'll work closely with our Brand & Content team to bring campaigns, cultural moments, and events to life — translating Gold House's world into design that resonates across platforms and in physical spaces.

What You'll Do

  • Design digital assets across social, web, and campaign touchpoints that reflect Gold House's brand with precision and cultural fluency
  • Develop event design systems — including signage, environmental graphics, and experiential materials — for flagship moments like the Gold Gala and Gold100
  • Collaborate with the brand team to maintain visual consistency while pushing the aesthetic forward across formats
  • Move quickly and iteratively, delivering polished work on timelines that match our pace

What We’re Looking For

  • A designer with a strong portfolio spanning both digital and experiential/event work
  • Deep instinct for cultural nuance — you understand how design lands differently across communities and contexts
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment with a lean team
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with motion or video assets is a plus
  • You take creative direction well and give it back even better

The Engagement

  • Monthly Retainer: $1,000–$2,500/month depending on experience/location for up to 40 hours/month, with additional hours billed at an agreed hourly rate (1099 independent contractor engagement)
  • Opportunity to participate in Gold House programs and experiences
  • Opportunity to define the trajectory of a mission-driven, fast-growing, mainstream-impactful organization
