Full Stack Engineer | £500 - £525 We're working with a leading specialist talent consultancy driving innovation across the green energy and technology sectors on this exciting opportunity. This is a high-impact role for a performance-driven engineer to build scalable, secure, and production-ready web applications from the ground up. You will own the full development lifecycle, leveraging a powerful stack of Python and React to deliver seamless user experiences and robust backend architecture. The Role

  • Architect and develop responsive, modular user interfaces using React and modern frontend design systems.
  • Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Manage complex client-side state and optimize frontend performance for high-traffic environments.
  • Build and maintain secure data flows, handling authentication, authorization, and relational/NoSQL database integrations.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional environment to drive system architecture and high-quality CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Need

  • Proven expertise in full-stack development with a mastery of Python and React.
  • Deep experience building REST APIs and working with asynchronous backend workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and implementing logging and monitoring for system reliability.
  • A track record of writing clean, testable code and participating in rigorous peer code reviews.
