HerVitality is a women’s health education charity. Our mission is to empower women of all ages with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to take charge of their health. We do this through accessible education programs, community outreach, and partnerships with healthcare professionals and research institutions.

As a small charity, your contribution will have a big impact. You will be helping us make trusted women’s health information more accessible, and in doing so, you’ll help women live healthier, and fuller lives.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a creative and experienced social media professional with a passion for women’s health and empowerment. You will know how to reach diverse audiences on Instagram (IGTV & Reels), LinkedIn, and have a strong track record in creating engaging, shareable content. You should have:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Knowledge of social media management tools and marketing trends
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve
  • Experience in creating engaging content for growing an audience using an online platforms
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity
  • Excellent time management and task prioritisation

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience with healthcare advocacy / educational content preferred
  • Experience in content creation for a charitable or cause-driven audience
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite).
  • Interest in women’s health, public health, or non-profit work.
  • Graphic design or video editing skills for creating eye-catching content.
  • Enjoys engaging with people online – responding to comments and messages in a warm, supportive way.
  • Shares our values of inclusivity, empathy, and empowerment.

What will you be doing?

As our Social Media & Engagement Lead, you’ll develop and manage engaging social media strategies that amplify our mission. You will:

  • Manage at least one of our main platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Define the strategy of how to run and grow our account
  • Define original content posting schedule
  • Interact with other accounts and re-post accordingly
  • Create and schedule impactful content tailored to our audiences, and conduct on the day quality control
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance our online presence and support campaigns
  • Help design, promote, and support community events and initiatives
  • Track and reflect on campaign performance to continuously improve engagement using Instagram and Linkedin analytics

Practical details:
