Freelance Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented freelance interior designer to assist with the part renovation and refresh of three existing residential properties. The scope is restricted to just a few elements that the owner (trained architect) would like to update and requires the help of someone that can assist with finding and sourcing materials and ensure functionality, and cost-efficiency requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret the owner's vision, translating it into practical and functional material selections
• Assist with the sourcing of samples
• Research and recommend appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes.
• Create detailed purchasable list of approved items.
• Carry out supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing for materials and furnishings.
• Oversee or advise on minor renovations, installations, and styling.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in residential interior design, particularly with refresh and renovation projects.
• Demonstrates versatility, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent sourcing skills, including supplier negotiation and budget management.
• Ability to work independently, manage timelines effectively, and collaborate with the property owner.
• Knowledge of local London suppliers and markets is a plus.

This is a freelance, project-based role with flexible scheduling.
