This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior AI Developer in EMEA. As a Senior AI Developer, you will play a key role in building next-generation software powered by Generative AI. This role goes beyond traditional development — you'll design, prototype, and implement AI Agents that transform how products are conceived, built, and deployed. Working across the full product lifecycle, you'll integrate reasoning frameworks, retrieval architectures, and prompt engineering to solve complex challenges. This position is ideal for engineers who see AI not just as a tool, but as the core of modern engineering practice. You'll work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver real impact. Accountabilities

  • Translate complex product and engineering challenges into AI-driven solutions that enhance development speed, accuracy, and scalability
  • Design, build, and deploy intelligent AI Agents using reasoning and memory architectures (RAG, ReAct, Chain of Thought, MCP, A2A)
  • Apply advanced prompt engineering and orchestration frameworks to optimize LLM performance across use cases
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI into every phase of the software lifecycle — from design to operations
  • Prototype, test, and scale AI applications while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and safety
  • Design and conduct evaluations (Evals) to measure LLM output quality, robustness, and cost-effectiveness
  • Support pre-sales and client engagements by demonstrating applied AI solutions and technical feasibility
  • Continuously explore and integrate the latest GenAI research and agentic frameworks into engineering best practices
  • Communicate insights, trade-offs, and technical strategies clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong programming experience in Python (or equivalent modern language)
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively
  • Hands-on experience in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with modern reasoning and orchestration strategies such as Chain of Thought, ReAct, and RAG
  • Previous experience developing or integrating AI Agents and multi-agent systems is highly valued
  • Understanding of evaluation methodologies (Evals) for testing and validating AI model performance
  • Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs or hybrid RAG architectures is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset, adaptability, and passion for AI innovation and continuous learning
