Are you a confident communicator with a love of storytelling, strong media instincts and a killer eye for social? We’re looking for a smart-thinking PR & Social Media Account Manager to join our growing collective at LUYA on a 6-month maternity cover contract.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll lead the charge across media relations, creative campaigns and organic social strategy. If you love a well-planned calendar, can spot a story from a mile off and get a buzz from seeing your clients in the headlines, this one’s for you.
WHO WE ARE+
LUYA is a results-driven PR agency specialising in media relations, social media and events. We work with brilliant brands across hospitality, property, retail and leisure, often with ambitious multi-site plans or UK rollouts.
We’re a close-knit, remote-first team based across the UK, combining big agency expertise with small team energy.
THE ROLE+
You’ll be managing a mix of retained clients and campaign projects. That means:
PR & Campaigns
- Leading on strategy and execution of annual PR plans and creative campaigns
- Drafting and issuing press releases, features and pitch emails
- Nurturing media relationships and chasing up opportunities
- Keeping clients updated with monthly reports, coverage and fresh ideas
- Leading client meetings and follow-ups
- Spotting emerging PR trends and jumping on relevant news cycles
Social Media
- Overseeing and approving full monthly organic social plans
- Supporting with caption copy that brings each brand’s tone to life
- Working closely with our internal design team to deliver standout visuals
- Planning stories, carousels, polls, Reels and highlight updates
- Tracking performance, pulling monthly stats and refining strategy
- Often attending (and planning for) content days
- Keeping ahead of trends and bringing fresh energy to client feeds
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need:
- 2+ years of agency or in-house PR/social experience
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to secure press coverage and manage campaigns
- Experience planning and managing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Confidence leading client comms and meetings
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive mindset
- A natural interest in media, brand tone of voice and digital storytelling
