Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing wooden, metal, and composite structures using advanced technologies and software tools. Core activities include creating and refining 3D models, developing technical documentation, performing structural calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role will also involve contributing to the automation of design workflows and optimizing engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in structural design, analysis, and 3D modeling using tools like Tekla Structures and BIM software
• Experience in designing wooden structures, such as modular and frame houses, CLT, and large-span glued wood structures
• Expertise in the design and analysis of metal structures, including communication towers and industrial buildings
• Technical skills in structural calculation, preparation of technical documentation, and integration of design with visualization tools
• Ability to develop and utilize plugins or applications for software like Tekla Structures to improve workflow automation
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical communication skills
• Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with professional experience in design and structure analysis
• Knowledge of construction standards and codes, especially for Scandinavian and European projects, is a plus
