We’re Hiring: Freelance Creative Strategist for DTC Brand MammaBump 👶💡

MammaBump is a fast-growing DTC brand supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding. We’re currently looking for a freelance/part-time Creative Strategist to help lead our in-house content production and Meta creative sprint process — with plans to expand to TikTok.

We’re especially keen to collaborate with someone who is currently working in an agency and open to taking on a side freelance gig. This isn’t about pulling you away from your full-time role — we truly value the perspective and creative range that comes from working across multiple clients, products, and markets.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in ad creation for eCommerce brands, someone who knows how to build high-converting creatives, and who deeply understands audience psychology, customer personas, and market dynamics. Your creative thinking and strategic approach will be essential to help us scale our performance marketing engine.

🧠 What we’re building:

We’re implementing a 30-day creative sprint process with a production timeline ranging from 3 to 21 days, depending on the format.

Our goal:

• 60–90 new creatives/month

• At least 20 unique concepts/month

• A structured approach to testing across funnel stages (awareness, consideration, conversion)

Formats include:

• UGC (native, lo-fi, testimonial-style)

• Static ads (including repurposed content)

• Podcasts / VSLs

• Founder-led videos

• Street interviews

• 3D content

• New, experimental creative formats

🎯 Your mission:

You’ll play a central role in shaping and executing our ad creative strategy. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can:

• Create original marketing angles & concepts grounded in audience psychology and our brand DNA

• Write scripts and creative briefs across a variety of ad formats — including UGC, static, native-style, podcasts, VSLs, interviews, and more

• Find and test new creative formats, tailoring content to each platform and funnel stage

• Develop iterations of top-performing ads to scale winning concepts

• Analyse Meta ad performance, extract insights, and use those learnings to inform future creative direction

• Build and lead our 30-day creative sprint process, delivering fresh ideas every week

• Produce static ads

• (Bonus) Edit video content — not essential, but a valuable plus

• (Bonus) Produce 3D content (animated videos and statics) via Omi.so
