Freelance UI Artist - Big Farm

New Moon Production is a remote working Hamburg based studio, bringing new and exciting games to the market. Since its founding in 2016, it has released multiple games on different platforms, including the much beloved Big Farm: Mobile Harvest, enjoyed by a quarter of a million players daily.

Our Big Farm Homestead team is looking for a skilled Freelance UI Artist with experience in Unity Engine to kick ass making creative ideas reality! You will bridge the gap between art and technology, ensuring that visual elements are integrated seamlessly into our projects. Come and collaborate closely with artists, designers, and programmers to achieve high-quality visual output and optimize performance.

• Independently develop and apply methods to achieve great player experience in our games
• Take responsibility for the UI/UX design of a product in cooperation with the game design, art and development teams
• Create and develop wireframes, mock-ups, user flows, prototypes and produce UI for our games
• Support in creating and applying design systems to achieve consistency across the project
• Applying best practices in UI/UX for mobile devices
• Advocate for the users and promote the user-centric mindset across the team

YOUR BACKSTORY

• Several years of professional experience in UI/UX design, concept development, interaction design, information architecture in the mobile gaming industry or a similar field
• Completed degree in Media Psychology, Graphic Design, Game Design or similar subject
• Extensive experience in Adobe CC suite (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD in particular)
• Experience in UI/UX design for mobile products
• Proficient in Figma and familiar with UI implementation in Unity
• A self-motivated individual with a passion for mobile and casual games
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong customer focus
• Familiar with industry standards and emerging trends in software
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams, including remote collaboration
