Digital Designer – Fashion & E-commerce
PHIX | Remote, UK-based | Contract
Help shape the digital identity of a global fashion brand rooted in music and individuality.
PHIX creates clothing with presence. Inspired by music culture, stage energy and 70s tailoring, our collections bring together distinctive silhouettes, expressive fabrics and a strong independent attitude.
Our collaborations include The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, with further partnerships planned for 2026 and beyond. As we continue to grow internationally, we’re looking for a talented Digital Designer to bring the same character and attention to detail to every part of our online presence.
This is an opportunity to take real ownership of how PHIX looks and feels across our website, email and digital campaigns. Working directly with the founder and marketing team, you’ll help turn ambitious creative ideas into distinctive, commercially effective design.
The role
You’ll combine a strong fashion sensibility with confident digital design skills. You’ll know how to give bold photography room to breathe, build a compelling visual hierarchy and use typography to express a brand’s personality.
PHIX has an expressive aesthetic. Your challenge is to bring structure, clarity and sophistication to that expression, creating work that feels unmistakably ours.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys both developing a visual direction and delivering the finished assets: a designer who can think about the wider brand while getting the spacing, crop and mobile layout right.
What you’ll do
• Design engaging Shopify experiences across homepages, collection pages, product pages and campaign landing pages.
• Create distinctive email campaigns and reusable Klaviyo templates that bring collections, products and stories to life.
• Develop launch assets across web, email, organic social and paid advertising, keeping each campaign visually consistent.
• Work with the marketing team to shape the presentation of our social feeds.
• Build and refine practical design guidelines covering typography, layout, spacing, colour and image treatment.
• Art-direct image selection, cropping and sequencing to make the most of our campaign photography and product imagery.
• Review designs across desktop and mobile, ensuring every launch feels polished and works clearly for the customer.
• Maintain organised Figma files, templates and asset libraries that help the team deliver consistently.
• Collaborate with our developer to translate approved designs into finished website experiences.
• Use feedback and performance insights to improve creative while protecting the PHIX aesthetic.
What we’re looking for
• A strong portfolio of digital design, with examples across websites, email or brand campaigns.
• An excellent eye for typography, composition, imagery and detail.
• A genuine interest in fashion, music, photography or the wider culture that informs PHIX.
• Advanced Figma skills and confidence using Adobe Creative Cloud tools relevant to your work.
• Experience designing for e-commerce, with an understanding of responsive layouts and the customer journey.
• Experience creating email designs; familiarity with Klaviyo would be an advantage.
• The ability to explain your design decisions, respond thoughtfully to feedback and take work through to completion.
• Strong organisation, clear written English and the ability to manage several projects in a fast-moving team.
• Confidence working independently, bringing ideas forward and taking responsibility for the quality of your output.
Experience with fashion, premium retail or culturally led brands would be particularly valuable. Above all, we’re interested in the quality of your work, your judgement and what you could bring to PHIX.
Why join PHIX?
• Creative ownership: Help develop the digital expression of a brand with a distinctive identity.
• Strong creative material: Work with original collections, campaign photography and music collaborations.
• Direct collaboration: Work closely with the founder, with a clear connection between your ideas and the finished work.
• Visible impact: See your designs reach an international audience across major launches and everyday customer touchpoints.
• UK-based remote working: Contribute remotely as part of a collaborative, ambitious team.
