Digital Designer - Creative Health/Pharma Agency - Fully Remote

** Please be aware we are seeking digital designers who have experience working in creative agencies as this is an agency-side role, applicants with design experience in health, pharma or medical marketing would also be advantageous - we are expecting high volumes of applicants for this position so please only apply if you have agency experience **

D I G I T A L DE S I G N E RPurpose of the role

Generate the visual output of the agency – using tools such as Figma, InDesign,

Illustrator and Photoshop. You’ll work across the full idea generation process, helping develop initial ideas right through to artworking the final solution. This role is responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of our client campaigns, and as such a strong command of digital, typography, layout, animation and art direction is essential.

Accountabilities

• Create digital and design concepts in response to briefs from the Strategy/Client Leadership teams.
• Create attractive and effective designs across all media.
• Present your work with passion and persuasion showing how it answers the brief and creates value for the client.
• Produce well-structured, professional design files.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients throughout the creative process.
• Create clear execution briefs to activate concepts into tangible assets and confidently brief to your wider team and external partners where relevant
• Champion creative excellence, always exploring new design strategies that contribute to best in class work
• Live and breathe design and digital assessing new opportunities and keeping up to date with the latest trends and techniques
• Help push other members of the creative team and mold new processes
• Positively contribute to our agency's culture and help grow our employee value proposition
• When required, work to develop high level ideas into tangible assets yourself using a range of creative techniques
• Be a guardian of work as it goes through the agency, ensuring that it stays on brief, brand and idea.

• Occasional travel is required.
• Remote based working with monthly team meet ups (South West UK)
• Client requirements and their locations mean working hours vary week to week.

Essential Experience

Considerable experience needed in:

• An advertising and/or marketing agency
• Proven track-record of successfully developing, presenting and selling visual ideas to clients.
• Experience in AI.
• Brand management
• Health marketing
• Medical device marketing
• Pharmaceutical marketing
• Understanding of brand and marketing strategy

Essential Skills

• A naturally inspiring creative mind that loves to develop ideas however big or small.
• Fluent usage of Figma, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Skilled in the latest digital and design packages. Fluent usage of Adobe CC and Figma.
• Great eye for detail.
• Able to meet deadlines calmly in a high pressure environment.
• Confident seeing projects through from start to completion.
• Able to perform consistently across projects of different scales.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Motivated to excel and maintain high design standards.
• Good understanding of marketing design and layout.
• Robust knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation.

Desirable Experience

• Pitching with high levels of success.

• Active social media contributor.

• PowerPoint/Showpad/Google Slides/Interactive PDF experience.
