About Punt

Punt is a sports prediction app built for everyday sports fans — the kind who follow matches, have opinions, and want to feel involved without the complexity or risk of gambling.

We’re building an easy-to-understand, skill-based alternative to gambling, where fans make predictions, earn Fancoins, and unlock digital collectibles that let them express who they are as supporters — without betting real money.

We’re currently focused on cricket, but Punt is designed to scale across every major sport over time. Everything we build — especially collectibles — needs to work across different sports, cultures, and fan identities.

Digital collectibles aren’t cosmetic add-ons at Punt. They’re how fans show identity, progression, and pride, and they sit at the centre of our long-term monetisation and product strategy.

This role sits at the heart of Punt’s mission. We’re intentionally designing a product that replaces odds and money with identity, expression, and progression.

The challenge is to design a collectibles system that feels rewarding and expressive without being complex or intimidating. Everything should feel playful, approachable, and instantly understandable to casual fans — whether they’re following cricket today or another sport tomorrow.

The way our collectibles look, feel, and evolve will directly shape how fans experience that difference.

The role

We’re looking for a Product-minded 3D Designer to take full ownership of Punt’s digital collectibles, 3D icons, and Fanstore visual systems.

This is not a freelance execution role. This is a founding-level position with real ownership, creative control within your domain, and equity in the company.

What you’ll do

• Own the end-to-end design of Punt’s 3D collectibles

• Define and evolve a scalable, sport-agnostic collectibles system (variants, scarcity, progression, drops)

• Design 3D icons and reward visuals that sit cleanly inside a 2D mobile UI

• Set the visual language for:

• Scarcity and value

• Limited vs evergreen items

• Seasonal, event-based, and sport-specific drops

• Shape the long-term vision of the Fanstore

• Work closely with the founder and engineers to ship quickly and iterate

• Ensure all assets are mobile-optimised, lightweight, and performance-friendly

• Help define how casual sports fans express identity across multiple sports through digital goods

What we’re looking forMust-have

• Experience designing 3D assets for live consumer products

• Strong understanding of low–mid poly, real-time 3D

• Proven ability to design systems, not just one-off visuals

• Strong product and UI sensibility

• Confident working in Figma alongside 3D tools

• Experience designing for mainstream or casual audiences, with clarity and restraint

• Comfortable designing within constraints (performance, reuse, scale)

Nice-to-have

• Experience with games, sports products, or reward systems

• Motion design (subtle reveals, shimmer, micro-interactions)

• Familiarity with Unity, Three.js, or similar pipelines
