Our client is a globally recognized leader in interactive entertainment, operating some of the most played online games in the world with hundreds of millions of players across multiple titles. Their frontend and client teams build the player-facing experiences, web platforms, and in-client interfaces that millions of people interact with every day. This is an opportunity to craft high-performance, polished interfaces at a scale very few products reach.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain responsive, high-performance player-facing web and client interfaces.
- Translate design and product requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested frontend code.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define and consume APIs.
- Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and observability across the stack.
- Contribute to unit and integration testing, automated builds, and deployment tooling.
- Contribute to the frontend engineering discipline, shaping component standards, tooling, and best practices.
Availability: Full-time, based in Australia, with reasonable overlap with the client's core collaboration hours.

Required Qualifications
- Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
- 5+ years of full-time hands-on frontend software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with a modern frontend framework. We're open to a range, including React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong command of TypeScript, plus modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working closely with backend services.
- Solid understanding of frontend performance, cross-browser behavior, and responsive design.
- Experience with testing, automated builds, and deployment workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with real-time or high-traffic consumer-facing applications.
- Prior experience in gaming, live-service, or interactive media.
- Familiarity with build tooling, telemetry, and analytics pipelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
