The Role

As a Senior 3D Software Engineer, you’ll play a key part in building the immersive visualization tools that bring the real world to life in 3D. You’ll take on complex challenges—combining spatial data from drones, 360° video, LiDAR, and BIM models into seamless, interactive experiences that customers depend on.

You’ll help define the architecture of the 3D engine, explore emerging technologies like Gaussian Splatting, and push the limits of browser-based visualization. Working primarily in Three.js and TypeScript, you’ll collaborate across engineering, design, and product to deliver high-performance, intuitive tools that redefine what’s possible in visual data capture.

What You’ll Do

• Lead architectural discussions and guide technical decisions to keep the 3D platform scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
• Build and optimize robust, reusable 3D components and visualization systems.
• Partner with other senior engineers to drive technical excellence and foster collaboration.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to translate complex data into powerful, performant 3D visualizations.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong front-end and 3D expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Three.js or Babylon.js, and the broader 3D web ecosystem.
• Proven experience designing and scaling large, interactive front-end architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Angular.
• Solid understanding of WebGL/WebGPU and performance tuning techniques.
• Strong testing experience using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with 3D data formats and workflows, such as point clouds, 3D Tiles, and Gaussian Splats.

Work Setup

• Hours: Must overlap at least 5 hours with 9 a.m.–5 p.m. PST.
• Model: Fully remote (U.S.-based).
• Travel: Occasional domestic trips for team meetups or company events.
