About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Vue.js Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and integrating custom web applications within a microservices architecture, supporting both front-end and back-end functionalities as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Vue.js 3+ and a solid understanding of full-stack development principles. Due to the nature of our federal consulting work, employees may handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must comply with all safeguarding and security requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects supporting national security efforts, working in an agile environment with a focus on innovation and collaboration. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in custom web application development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js 3+
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, including UI frameworks and backend architecture
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (additional 2 years of experience)
- Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS
- Experience developing and consuming FastAPI and/or RESTful web services
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) practices
- Knowledge of mobile-friendly website development
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Excellent analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Experience working with the federal government
- Experience with Vite, Quasar, or Pinia (highly preferred)
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience working within Scrum or SAFe environments with 2-3 week sprint cycles
- Experience with Python backend development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally within an Agile environment to develop and enhance web applications
- Design, build, and update custom web applications within a microservices architecture
- Support both front-end and back-end codebases, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
- Implement and adhere to accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to support emerging client needs and project requirements
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality standards
- Utilize modern development tools and practices such as CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and optimize websites for various devices and screen sizes
