About The Company

Kmotion Design is a collaborative and innovative agency dedicated to creating custom, user-centered digital experiences. Specializing in web design, branding, video production, and marketing, our team is composed of self-starters, strategic thinkers, and creative professionals committed to delivering exceptional value and measurable ROI for our clients. We prioritize a forward-thinking approach, ensuring that every project is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client while adhering to the highest standards of quality and user experience.

Our philosophy centers around the belief that user experience extends beyond initial interactions. We strive to create seamless, cohesive experiences that foster strong connections between brands and their audiences. Whether through websites, marketing campaigns, or branding initiatives, our goal is to make every touchpoint intuitive, impactful, and aligned with our clients' strategic objectives.

About The Role

We are seeking a thoughtful, detail-driven UX Designer to join our growing team at Kmotion Design. This fully remote position is open to U.S. residents (excluding California and Hawaii). As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping high-performing web experiences that are both visually appealing and functionally effective. Your primary responsibilities will include leading user research efforts, conducting interviews and testing, and synthesizing insights to inform design strategies.

You will collaborate closely with project leads, strategists, and developers to define project scope and priorities, ensuring that user needs and business goals are aligned. Your work will involve building wireframes, prototypes, and design systems, applying style guides, and supporting the seamless handoff of designs for development. While you won’t be setting the entire creative vision, your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the final product and ensuring a consistent, user-centered approach across all projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented, purpose-driven team, contribute to meaningful projects, and continuously refine your skills within a supportive environment. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from research and ideation to iteration and implementation, helping to elevate our clients' digital presence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in agency or multi-project environments
  • Proficiency in user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and testing
  • Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows
  • Experience with design systems, style guides, and reusable components
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA compliance) and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Google Workspace, Slack, HotJar, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and testing to identify pain points and opportunities
  • Develop research scripts, questions, and testing plans tailored to project objectives
  • Synthesize research findings and present actionable insights to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project leads, strategists, and developers to define project scope based on research and business goals
  • Create wireframes, low-to-mid fidelity prototypes, and user flows that reflect user needs and conversion goals
  • Translate strategic and creative guidance into scalable, functional design systems
  • Develop and maintain reusable components and style guides to ensure design consistency
  • Benchmark competitors and industry standards to inform design direction and identify differentiation opportunities
  • Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible (ADA-compliant), and feasible for development implementation
  • Support collaboration with developers by providing detailed specifications and troubleshooting during implementation
  • Manage multiple client projects, balancing timelines, feedback, and priorities effectively
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of UX processes, tools, and documentation
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback and internal reviews to optimize user experience

Benefits

  • Fully remote work environment, providing flexibility and work-life balance
  • Opportunity to collaborate with a talented and supportive team
  • Annual team retreat to foster team bonding and strategic planning
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a 3% employer match
  • Paid time off and holidays to support personal well-being
  • Access to modern tools and resources to support your work and growth
