Product Engineer (Frontend + UX)

Tech Takes is building the next generation of sports analytics + automated sports investing tools. We ship data-driven picks, dashboards, and subscription experiences that feel premium, fast, and trustworthy.

• We’re hiring a hybrid Frontend Engineer + Product Designer. Someone who can take an idea from Figma → TypeScript → production and hone in over the details that make a product feel world-class.

Location: Remote (PST-friendly hours)

Industry: Sports analytics / sports betting tech

What you’ll work on

• Build and polish core product UI: dashboards, onboarding, subscriptions, referrals, and in-app experiences.
• Own the design-to-implementation pipeline: translate Figma into clean, responsive React components and refine UX as you go.
• Implement and maintain payment flows (Stripe + other processors): checkout, subscriptions, trials, webhooks, invoices, proration, cancellations.
• Create user experiences that feel “obvious”: empty states, loading states, error states, edge-case handling—everything.
• Collaborate with engineering + ops in a fast-moving environment (clear commits, PRs, documentation, and iteration loops)

Must-haves

• Strong JavaScript + TypeScript fundamentals.
• Proven experience shipping modern frontend apps (React experience strongly preferred).
• Comfortable implementing payment APIs (Stripe or similar) including webhooks and subscription lifecycle logic.
• Solid Git/version control habits (branching, PRs, code review, clean history).
• Design sensibility: typography, spacing, component systems, UX flow coherence.
• PST-friendly collaboration and proactive communication.

Nice-to-haves (big plus)

• Experience with crypto payments / blockchain rails (wallet transactions, stablecoins, confirmations, on-chain monitoring, fraud/edge cases).
• Familiarity with product analytics, A/B testing, or growth experiments.
• Experience building real-time-ish UIs (live feeds, chat, activity streams).
