Join an exciting project bringing anime and manga-inspired animation to a 4-part YouTube documentary focused on the automotive industry. This role involves designing five unique characters and four key locations, including car garages, race cars, and Formula 1-style pit lane scenes. You will create dynamic backdrops, transitions, and animated inserts that capture the energy and style of the automotive world. The work is fully remote, offering flexibility while collaborating with a London-based production studio. • Design and illustrate five original anime/manga-style characters tailored to the documentary’s narrative.
• Create four detailed automotive-themed locations, such as garages, race cars, and pit lane environments.
• Develop a range of backdrops and transitions to enhance storytelling and visual flow.
• Produce high-quality animated inserts for integration into the documentary series.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure visual consistency and meet project milestones.
• Deliver all assets in required formats and within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in anime/manga-style animation and character design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work in animation, illustration, and environment design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard animation and illustration software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, Clip Studio Paint).
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual assets.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
