Freelance Interior Designer – Creative Film Space

This role is for an experienced interior designer to transform a newly constructed industrial building into a vibrant creative center for film production. The project involves designing functional and inspiring spaces, including offices, production areas, collaborative nooks, a lounge and coffee bar, commercial kitchen, multiple bathrooms, workrooms, a partial mezzanine, and open expansion zones. The design must maintain an 'Alpine Industrial' aesthetic with subtle old Hollywood influences, ensuring the environment feels welcoming and avoids a warehouse atmosphere despite the 35’ ceiling height. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive floor plan in CAD and a 3D rendering or flythrough, with a focus on maximizing both creativity and functionality within a limited budget. Immediate availability is required due to a tight project timeline. Deliverables

• Develop a detailed floor plan in CAD format, incorporating all specified spaces and creative use of vertical height.
• Produce a 3D rendering or flythrough to visualize the proposed design and spatial flow.
• Integrate the 'Alpine Industrial' theme with old Hollywood touches throughout the interior.
• Ensure all areas are functional, comfortable, and conducive to collaboration and relaxation.
• Present creative concepts that maximize the building’s potential while adhering to budget constraints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine design concepts and incorporate feedback promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in architectural interior design, preferably for creative or industrial environments.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software and 3D visualization tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative spatial planning and thematic design.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple deliverables efficiently.
