Freelance Web Designer – Luxury Automotive

This role involves designing and developing a bespoke WordPress website for a leading European luxury and supercar hire brokerage. The project requires a high-end, design-led approach that reflects the exclusivity and sophistication of the brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom WordPress development, with a focus on clean, confident, and premium aesthetics. You will be responsible for creating a mobile-first, conversion-focused site that supports a PPC launch and sets the foundation for a long-term digital presence. Reference sites and brand direction will be provided, and there is potential for ongoing collaboration if the initial build is successful. Deliverables

• Design and develop a custom WordPress website without using off-the-shelf themes
• Implement a clean, high-end visual style with strong UI/UX for premium brands
• Ensure mobile-first responsiveness and fast loading performance
• Integrate Elementor Pro or Gutenberg for flexible content management
• Set up basic on-site SEO and high-quality typography
• Align design and development with provided brand direction and reference sites
• Deliver both a lean launch version and a roadmap for a fuller, long-term build
• Collaborate closely to meet project timelines for a PPC launch in early February

Requirements

• Proven experience in custom WordPress website design and development
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end, design-led web projects for premium or luxury brands
• Expertise in UI/UX, visual hierarchy, and mobile-first design principles
• Proficiency with Elementor Pro or Gutenberg
• Solid understanding of on-site SEO fundamentals and web performance optimization
• Excellent skills in typography and visual design
• Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
• Based in Europe or able to align with UK time zones preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Availability for potential ongoing work beyond the initial project
