Web Designer – Figma, Remote

Join a dynamic digital team as a part-time web designer focused on creating and refining web page designs using Figma. You will collaborate remotely with stakeholders, iteratively updating designs to support the ongoing growth of a renowned cultural institution’s online presence. • Design new web pages and update existing layouts using Figma components
• Adapt and improve current Figma component library to meet new design needs
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and implement feedback
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards
• Prepare design assets for handoff to development teams
• Participate in regular remote meetings and design reviews

Requirements

• Proven experience designing web interfaces with Figma
• Strong portfolio demonstrating web design skills and component-based workflows
• Ability to work part-time on a contract basis, fully remote
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility best practices
• Experience working with established design systems and iterating on existing components
