Job Description

Posted on: February 3, 2026

Join a project to transform an established architectural lighting and acoustic systems manufacturer’s online presence. This role is ideal for a senior front-end or full-stack web developer with a strong design sensibility and experience building scalable, content-rich websites. You will collaborate closely with an in-house design team to deliver a modern, clean, and highly functional product-catalog site. The new website will feature approximately 100 pages, including detailed product families, SKUs, technical specifications, downloads, project case studies, and sustainability content. The focus is on performance, scalability, and a CMS-driven structure that avoids page-builder solutions, ensuring long-term maintainability and architectural integrity. Responsibilities

  • Lead the redesign and rebuild of a 100-page product-catalog website for an architecture-focused manufacturer
  • Collaborate with the in-house design team to translate design concepts into a responsive, visually compelling site
  • Develop and implement a robust CMS solution that is not reliant on page builders, supporting long-term scalability
  • Integrate product families, SKUs, technical specifications, downloads, and case studies into a seamless user experience
  • Optimize site performance, accessibility, and SEO for a global audience
  • Ensure the website reflects a clean, modern, and architecture-driven aesthetic
  • Provide technical guidance on best practices for web development and CMS architecture

Skills And Requirements

  • Proven experience as a front-end or full-stack web developer, ideally with a portfolio of design-led, content-rich websites
  • Expertise in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, etc.)
  • Strong experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Craft CMS, Contentful) and custom CMS implementations
  • Ability to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance websites without reliance on page builders
  • Familiarity with integrating complex product catalogs and technical documentation
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work closely with design teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a polished user experience
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO best practices
  • Availability for project-based, remote collaboration
