About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Hosting Experience team, focused on delivering outstanding experiences for Website Designers and Developers. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a frontend expert responsible for shaping our customer-facing products related to web hosting and AI-driven customer tooling. Your expertise will drive business growth by developing scalable, high-performance frontend applications and ensuring seamless user experiences across our platform. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence product architecture, stay at the forefront of frontend technology trends, and contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs worldwide. Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong proficiency with React (CSR & SSR), NodeJS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency in API-driven design, particularly REST.
- Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of core web technologies including CSS3, HTML5, and design patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Experience working with git and git-based workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance frontend applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Lead frontend architecture initiatives to ensure consistent, seamless user experiences across products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and advocate for their adoption within the team.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient codebases.
- Engage in DevOps activities such as deployment, monitoring, and on-call support to ensure product stability and performance.
