Sales Development Representative

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Development Representative to join our team of professionals passionate about our job and supporting each other in achieving our goals. At Visual Components we are building 3D simulation tools to plan factories and optimize production lines. We believe that 3D simulation is the future of planning, and we want to make it easily accessible. With solutions for manufacturing design, sales, and application development, our software is trusted by hundreds of organizations worldwide.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Proactively searching for suitable accounts and contacts
• Building and cleaning up target lists
• Boldly reaching out to the right prospects
• Engaging in deeper discussions to generate interest
• Generating new sales opportunities to the other members of the sales team
• Assisting in automating our sales processes
• Working with the marketing team in line with the company’s growth strategies
• Helping with inbound web leads and tradeshow follow up when necessary
• Representing Visual Components in front of customers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Confidence in social interactions
• Enthusiasm to be in touch with prospects
• Some experience in cold calling or contacting
• Persistency in reaching out to people until you get an answer
• Above average organizational, planning, and communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with CRM. We use Dynamics and HubSpot
• Experience working with MS Office

Preferred:

• Knowledge of the manufacturing, automation, or robotics industries. It will help you to understand our product and the needs of our customers

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates degree from a two-year college or university or technical school; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
