The Rebecca Jane Foundation is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our operations and help families navigate one of life’s most difficult moments. About Us The Rebecca Jane Foundation provides financial support for funeral, cremation, or burial arrangements to families experiencing hardship. We work closely with social workers, funeral directors, and families to ensure a respectful and affordable farewell for their loved ones. The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator Volunteer plays a key role in creating and managing content across our social media platforms to engage supporters, promote events, and share the impact of our work. Key Responsibilities
- Creating and scheduling engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Managing and updating the Foundation’s website and blog
- Designing promotional materials and graphics for campaigns and events
- Supporting email marketing and donor communications
- Monitoring engagement and analytics to inform strategy
- Collaborating with the team to align messaging and tone
We Welcome Volunteers Who Are
- Creative and confident communicators
- Experienced with social media platforms and digital tools
- Skilled in graphic design (Canva, Adobe, etc.) and content creation
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Passionate about community impact and storytelling
- Preferably with marketing, communications, or design experience
Availability And Requirements
- Time Commitment: Approx. 5 hours per week
- Scheduling: Flexible hours, with occasional meetings or deadlines
Requirements
- Access to a computer/device and reliable internet connection (we utilise G-suite and specialised web-based applications)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and design tools
- Willingness to follow brand guidelines and collaborate with the team
