Sr. UI/UX Designer

About The Role We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join the team on a remote basis for a 6+ month engagement. The ideal candidate will refine existing designs, create high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, and ensure seamless collaboration among executives, development teams, and stakeholders. This role is pivotal in crafting an intuitive, visually compelling user experience that supports efficient navigation, data access, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities

• Design and iterate user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma
• Collaborate with executives to present design concepts and incorporate feedback
• Align design efforts with input from developers, product managers, and subject matter experts
• Maintain and evolve the design system, including colors, typography, iconography, and UI components
• Develop interactive demos and visual presentations for executive audiences
• Provide detailed design assets and specifications for development handoff
• Support or conduct user research and usability testing to validate design choices
• Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Stay current with design trends and tools, recommending workflow improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, design systems, and prototyping
• Solid grasp of responsive design, color theory, typography, and layout principles
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage timelines and stakeholder expectations in an agile environment

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to facilitate development collaboration
• Experience with usability testing and user interviews to inform design decisions
• Expertise in visual storytelling for executive-level presentations
• Experience building and scaling design systems within organizations
• Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes and micro-interactions

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent experience
