Role Summary
The Change Manager Consultant will be responsible for developing and executing
structured change management strategies to ensure the successful adoption and
implementation of organizational initiatives. The role involves facilitating change across
international and multi-disciplinary teams, managing stakeholder communication, and
ensuring alignment with business objectives. The consultant will guide leadership and
project teams in driving transformation and minimizing resistance to change.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
• Proven ability to coordinate, manage, and lead successful changes in projects across
multiple geographical locations.
• Proven skills in change management, facilitation, trust-building, planning, organizing,
and communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to think strategically and re-engineer processes, quickly developing actionable
plans to address risks and challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international, multicultural, and multidisciplinary
environment across different time zones.
• Creative and analytical problem-solving skills with demonstrated teamwork,
innovation, and excellence.
• Proactive, flexible, resourceful, and able to work independently with limited
supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including influence, negotiation, motivation, and conflict
resolution.
• Proficiency in Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
Education Qualifications
Essential:
• First-level university degree in Communication, English, Marketing, Psychology, or other
related fields.
• Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and/or Prosci Change Management
(ADKAR Model).
Desirable:
• Certificate in Digital Business or Social Media Marketing.
• Certificate in graphic design or other communications/design tools.
Experience
Essential:
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Change Manager in successful project or
program delivery across complex, cross-functional initiatives, some at the global level.
• Demonstrated experience applying structured change management methodologies and
leading change initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with senior or executive-level management, including managing
resistance to change.
• Proven experience in developing business plans and project-related documentation.
Desirable:
• Experience working in multinational organizations, UN agencies, or international
projects, preferably in technical or public health programs.
• Experience in strategy, program delivery, and transition management.
• Experience in campaign planning, advocacy, communications design, or video content
creation.
• Experience managing change initiatives across multiple time zones without in-person
meetings.
Language Skills
• Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
• Basic knowledge in French is desirable but not mandatory.
Other Essential IT Skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and MS Project.
