WordPress + ConvertKit Setup Specialist - Lead Magnet Funnel & Email Integration

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a detail-oriented remote freelancer to set up a lead magnet funnel on our existing WordPress website, fully integrated with our ConvertKit (Kit) account. 

The goal: a visitor downloads a resource and they're added to the correct sequence in Kit - automatically and seamlessly.

We will provide all copy and downloadable content. You bring the technical execution as well as a skill for layout design as a bonus.

This is a fixed-scope, short-term project (ideal for a freelancer) with a clear deliverable and defined end point. Potential for ongoing work in the future.

You will collaborate closely with the founder to create seamless and impactful user experiences tailored to our audience.

The project scope:

Embed a lead magnet opt-in on our WordPress website (landing page and/or pop-up).

Connect the opt-in form to ConvertKit so new subscribers are tagged and added to the correct sequence automatically.

Ensure the downloadable resource (PDF) is delivered via Kit automation upon sign-up.

Set up basic UTM tracking so we can identify where sign-ups are coming from (website vs. LinkedIn vs. email).

Test the full flow end-to-end and provide a short walkthrough video so we can manage it ourselves going forward.

Bonus (not required, but valued): light graphic design or layout polish on the PDF resource if needed.

What we need from you/qualifications & experience:

Demonstrated experience with WordPress and ConvertKit/Kit integration. Proficiency in ConvertKit for creating and managing email marketing campaigns and automations.

Solid understanding of lead magnet funnels, landing pages and email list building, customisation, plugin management & troubleshooting.

Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies related to email campaigns and customer engagement

Strong written English - you'll need to communicate clearly, ask good questions, and document your work.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively

A methodical, non-AI-reliant approach - we're a small team that values craft and attention to detail.

Basic understanding of UTM parameters and traffic source tracking & experience with analytics tools to track and improve campaign performance.

Experience in working with inclusive projects or organisations is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or related fields.

Graphic design capability is a bonus (not a deal breaker).

What we're not looking for:

Over-reliance on AI-generated work or templated setups.

Generic proposals that haven't read this post.

Someone who needs heavy hand-holding on the tech side.
